Data Robotics Drobo presents the new S, the solution quickly to accommodate 5 hard drives and up to 10 TB of data, fitted with eSATA interface.

The presence of FireWire 800 allows a faster transfer of data, then the S Drobo also has USB 2.0 interface.

The Drobo S can work with both PC and Mac, in addition to being recognized even by Linux systems. The Drobo S will soon be available at a price of $ 799.

Each purchase of the iRiver E50 comes with a pair of earbuds. Available in 2, 4 or 8GB storage space, the player also offers a 1.8 inch display, voice recorder, and 52 hours of battery life

 Cowon S9 MP3 Player Released in Korea

Cowon will launch the Cowon S9 MP3 player in Korea on December 16th. The gadget boasts a 3.3-inch AMOLED capacitive touch panel display that provides 16 million colors on 480 x 272 pixels resolution. The player is powered by a 500MHz dual-core CPU, and supports T-DMB digital television tuner, Bluetooth, FM radio, text/photo viewer, electronic dictionary function, TV-out, and G-Sensor accelerometer. The S9 also supports user interface of touchscreen, gravity sensor, zoom in/out flash menu and video clip preview function. Its battery provides up to 55 hours of music playback, 11 hours of video playback, and up to 350 hours of standby time. The Cowon S9 is available in 4GB, 8GB and 16GB storage space. The DMB model will be released next year.

Vudu BX100 Offers 1,100 Movies And Going Strong

The Vudu BX100 retails for $300, but a limited-time promotion includes a $200 movie credit for those who purchase the unit at Best Buy.So basically you’re paying $100 for the machine, which allows you to tap to more than 1,100 HD and HDX movie rentals at $4-6 a pop.  This is even more movies than what XBOX Live Marketplace and Apple iTunes offer at the moment.  This is due to Vudu’s  commitment to add 150 HD flicks per week in October, and it’s still going strong.  So are you ready to jump to HD movie downloads or are you sticking with Blu-ray?

Sanyo comes back with a new WiFi-enabled R227 Tabletop Radio. The device offers standard FM reception with thousands of internet stations and podcasts. It also has stereo speakers, one-button on / off, a bundled remote, an Ethernet jack, auxiliary input for DAPs and an audio output to connect with the sound systems.

The R227 also has an auxiliary jack to allow users to connect their personal audio players, and will support AAC, AIFF, MP3, RM, WAV, WMA files as well as M3V playlists stored on a networked computer. A headphone jack is present, while an output will let users connect the radio to external audio systems when the 4W of power from the R227’s dual speakers is not enough.

A clock and alarm are part of the R227’s features, allowing users to wake up to Internet or FM radio programming as well as buzzer.

The R227 in a black wood gloss finish will ship to retailers in Canada late in October, with pricing set at $220CAD (about $172).

Aigo Vodafone McLaren Mercedes MP5 Player

Aigo revealed the Aigo Vodafone McLaren Mercedes MP5 player, or better known as the MP5-MK3510. The gadget boasts a 4.3 inch display (480 × 272 px), and supports RM, RMVB, AVI, FLV, DAT, MPG, MPEG and MP3, WMA, FLAC, APE with BBE and SRS file formats. Other features include an integrated e-Book reader, Photo viewer and a built-in FM tuner. Its battery provides approx. 4 hours of non-stop video playback or 10 hours for audio playback.
