Data Robotics Drobo presents the new S, the solution quickly to accommodate 5 hard drives and up to 10 TB of data, fitted with eSATA interface.

The presence of FireWire 800 allows a faster transfer of data, then the S Drobo also has USB 2.0 interface.

The Drobo S can work with both PC and Mac, in addition to being recognized even by Linux systems. The Drobo S will soon be available at a price of $ 799.

Sony Korea is back with its new DVD home theater system ‘DAV-DZ790K’ for the Korean market. TRENDnet has announced the availability of its new 300Mbps Dual Band Wireless N USB Adapter, model TEW-664UB. It enables users to network their computer to a wireless network using either the 2.4GHz or 5GHz radio frequency. The device also uses an advanced wireless encryption to protect data communication and the latest in MIMO attenna technology to ensure the fastest communication speeds that wireless n technology provides. The TEW-664UB supports Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems and retails for $60.

iRiver will release the Wave Home in the Korean market via KT. This communications device has been introduced at CES 2009. Phone capability comes from a removable handset plopped into its back. Video conferencing is courtesy of a 1.3MP shooter in the top. You can control the iRiver Wave Home through the 7-inch, 800 x 480 pixel resolution touch screen.

ViewSonic just announced a pair of 800×600 digital photo frames, the DPG801BK and the DPG807BK.  They’re basically the same product, 500:1 contrast ratio and 512MB internal memory, nothing special, except the DPG807BK comes with a remote control.  No wi-fi on both, and while they look pretty sleek, they barely scream past mediocre.  $119 and $159, respectively, I’m not sure if the remote control is worth the extra $40.  If all that’s not enough for your memories,  you can add more memory with either the USB port or the memory card slot.
