You have to love it for what it is though. It’s an amazing looking car that questions our concept of what a car is. Obviously the materials and structure probably doesn’t meet up to government standards for any country, but that’s why we have engineers and researchers to develop better technology.

Funny how this blog doesn’t mention any of the real high points of this car. I watched a 15 minute thing on TV about this car and it was incredibly sweet. For one thing, all the commands, like lights, wipers, etc. are all voice activated. When you tell the car to turn the lights on they actually open like eyes. When they go off they close up completely and look like they’re not even there. The hood is a little bit suggestive but it seamlessly disappears also. The fabric that they use is an industrial plastic tightly woven slightly metallic fabric that is UV proof and incredibly abrasion resistant and can stretch beyond the limits of normal fabrics. There is no paint to scratch and I imagine that you could not cut it with a knife. This is an incredible piece of work that’s I’d drive around any day.
